It was a blast, but definitely a crazy life for a few months before leaving Mansfield to work in Youngstown in a permanent position. Months later, I was given the opportunity to head to WFMJ-TV in Youngstown, where I covered the evening weather shift every other weekend, while still working in Mansfield. Go Bucks!Īfter college, I moved back home to Mansfield to work for WMFD-TV, presenting the forecast at noon and in the evening five days a week. I was born in Cleveland and moved to Mansfield when I was five, where I lived until heading farther down I-71 to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue my career in the Miami Valley! I am an Ohioan all around. Since then, I knew I wanted to be on TV, warning the community of any upcoming weather danger. I would always keep a local TV meteorologist on at the same time, and track the storm with him. In the world of television, WABC-TV is most known for its take on the Eyewitness News format and its morning program, syndicated across the country by corporate cousin Walt Disney Television.My love of weather began when I was four years old, when I would head out to our open garage door to look at incoming thunderstorms. The station, owned and run by the network's ABC Owned Television Stations division, keeps studios in Manhattan's Lincoln Square district, close to ABC's corporate offices, and the Empire State Building serves as its transmitter. It is the place where Dani is currently working. The ABC network's central television station is WABC-TV (channel 7), located in New York City. She appears thrilled about leaving behind her cherished KTNV family, whom she will miss, and embarking on a new journey. Her ten-year dream was to get a meteorology job at ABC7. She forced herself to go an additional 30 blocks while an intern at NY1 to pass ABC7.
